Patty is the office director and massage therapist at SSRCC and works closely with Dr. Hudec. She was instrumental in the 2006 planning and opening of SSRCC. She has a multidisciplinary background that makes her skills effective and unique to this area.
A Unique Education
Patty is a 1997 graduate of National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, California. This is where she first learned to appreciate the many different specialties and techniques found in the healing arts profession but Patty quickly connected to deep tissue and muscle rehabilitative techniques which made her quest for those opportunities.
Patty’s Philosophy
From 1999-2005, Patty found herself as a chiropractic assistant at the National Naval Medical Center where she built upon her medical therapy knowledge. She worked closely with Chiropractic, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy departments where she learned to love the philosophy she uses today; “Get the patient out of pain and back to their quality of life as efficiently and quickly as possible!”
A Distinctive Technique
Patty has combined all her experience and knowledge to form a distinctive technique of hands on deep tissue work combined with biomechanically minded stretches, trigger point therapy, passive and active movements and more to aid patients optimally recover quick, enhances performance and decrease injury risks.
On a Personal Note….
Patty loves her job but also enjoys her four cats and running. Running is a passion that has aided in her sports specialization. You can find her on weekends running the Fayetteville trails or enjoying one of the local 5K runs. She is currently marathon training and hopes to complete a full marathon within the next year.
